Second Donor Drive at AUA

The College of Health Sciences organized the second Donor Drive at AUA in collaboration with the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry (ABMDR) on December 6, 2011.  Fifteen members of the AUA community participated in the Donor Drive filling a Medical Questionnaire and donating 3-4 ml blood for testing. The ABMDR is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization, whose mission is to ensure that every ethnic Armenian struck with a life threatening blood-related illness is able to find hope for long-term survival through the identification of a genetically suitable bone marrow match.
