AUA CHS and AAMA Organize Medical Webinar Series for Health Community

The American University of Armenia (AUA) Turpanjian College of Health Sciences (CHS) collaborate with the Armenian American Medical Association (AAMA) of Boston by organizing a series of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) events for health providers. The purpose of this collaboration is to offer an educational and experience-sharing platform for health providers of Armenian origin, both those living and working in the United States and those in Armenia. Educational events are conducted in the format of lectures and clinical case discussions and focus on common chronic health problems, current approaches to their management and prevention. Within the period July 2024-June 2025, two events took place on the topics of “Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease and Primary Care Management” and “Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Management in Primary Care Settings”, with overall around 500 participants, from Armenia, US, and other countries. Both events provided Continuous Medical Education (CME) Credits approved by the Ministry of Health of Armenia.
