On November 17, 2012, Armine Vardanyan (MPH candidate 2013) received the “Best Student” Award from the Mayor of Ejmiadzin. This award recognizes academic excellence and service to the community among students from Ejmiadzin city. The award was presented at an award ceremony and concert to celebrate International Student Day. 
Armine Vardanyan is a second year student in the AUA Master of Public Health program and recipient of the AUA Akian and Doumanian Scholarships and works in the Center for Health Services Research and Development of the College of Health Sciences. She is a graduate of Yerevan State Medical University, Department of Pharmacy.
