Nune Truzyan and Ruzanna Grigoryan from the Center for Health Services Research and Development of the American University of Armenia have been competitively selected to present their work at the 32nd Annual Meeting of the Society for Medical Decision Making (SMDM) in Toronto, Canada, October 24 – 27, 2010. The 32nd SMDM Annual Meeting was devoted to Evidence, Economics, and Ethics: The Future of Health Technology Assessment; researchers presented and discussed innovative and challenging science related to all aspects of medical decision making.
The CHSR Researchers presented the poster “Consequences of Payment Mechanisms on Tuberculosis (TB) Control”; it was developed based on the comprehensive assessment of TB services in Armenia that CHSR conducted.
The SMDM awarded Nune Truzyan and Ruzanna Grigoryan Travel Scholarships, which covered travel expenses, meeting registration, two pre-conference short courses and a 3-year membership in the Society.
