Mehgrigian Institute for Preventive Ophthalmology of the CHSR

With a generous gift from the Meghrigian family, the Garo Meghrigian Institute for
Preventive Ophthalmology (Meghrigian Institute) was established within the Avedisian
Onanian Center for Health Services Research and Development at AUA’s Turpanjian
College of Health Sciences. Meghrigian Institute’s mission is to prevent avoidable blindness in
Armenia. The activities of the Meghrigian Institute are highlighted in the annual reports and
